Full-time software engineer, part-time shōgun. With five years of experience at Amazon working on core libraries and AWS, there’s a good chance you interact with his code on a daily basis. Contributing to the structure of the modern internet got a little stale for David, so he dipped his toes into the next big thing: blockchain. He came up with Rising Sun to put the latest and greatest tokenomics in the space into action.

COO: Yannic

Developer, designer, scholar, warrior. Yannic is a real rōnin of all trades. With years of experience in coding, graphic design, and medical research, he’s got what it takes to bring honor to Rising Sun. In need of his own quest, Yannic scoured the lands in search of glory. He gave up his life as a wanderer and swore allegiance to our glorious nation after being impressed by Rising Sun’s team and core concepts.

COO: Gabriele

An inquisitive ikkō-ikki always on the search for new horizons. For Gabriele, it’s knowledge or seppuku. In his eagerness for new adventures, he developed a passion for finance and technology. His experience in the engineering field has made him one of our top brains. Gabriele’s thirst for wisdom landed him a place in project and he pledged allegiance to Rising Sun. As a pillar of the community, he’ll be making sure the sun always shines on our glorious nation.

Chief Design Officer: K

A samurai and motion designer that bows to no man. Wandering between clients such as HSBC, Pfizer, and Samsung for ten years has made him a master of his trade. K found a stark but welcome contrast between the corporate and crypto worlds and began delving deeper into the latter. After hearing about Rising Sun, K was sure of its potential and became responsible for the project’s aesthetic vision.

Development: Thijmen

Passionate about bushidō and even more passionate about code. As an ashigaru and full-stack developer, Thijmen prides himself on his attention to detail. After starting to code at 14 years old, he set out on his journey to full-stack perfection. With code as disciplined as a samurai, he’s ready to make his mark in crypto. He joined the Rising Sun team in his quest to expand his knowledge and explore Web 3.0 and its possibilities.

Communications: Freddy

A bold sōhei that favors a pen over a katana. Years of experience as a writer have made Freddy a master of the literary arts. After honing his skills in the scientific and creative fields, he made a start in the chaotic world of cryptocurrency. Roaming through the scorched wastes of the Binance Smart Chain sharpened his wits and hardened his spirit. He offered his skills to the shōgun of Rising Sun and now serves with honor as the nation’s top scribe.

Education: Penguin

High school teacher by day, tsukai-ban by night. Penguin King was hand-picked by the emperor of Rising Sun for his ability to break down tough crypto concepts to newcomers. The perplexing world of cryptocurrency made him want to put his knowledge to the test. Intrigued by Rising Sun’s intricate tokenomics, he embarked on a quest for glory. He now serves honorably by offering his skills up in service to the Rising Sun nation.

Marketing: Palu

Our resident ninja. As a loyal agent of the shōgun, Palu makes himself known when necessary. He’s a computer science student and financial market enthusiast, making him one of the brains behind Rising Sun. Creeping through the depths of the Binance Smart Chain has made him a veteran of the scene. He now serves the Rising Sun nation, bringing technical wisdom and innovative marketing strategies to the table.
